Directed by Daniel Roher, Tuner revolves around a piano tuner whose extraordinary auditory skills set him apart. What begins as a rare talent for detecting subtle nuances in sound soon draws him into an unexpected and dangerous world. As the story unfolds, his ability evolves into a tool for unlocking high-security safes, placing him at the centre of a complex chain of events where his gift becomes both an asset and a liability.

The film is designed as a character-driven thriller, building tension not just through action but through sound design and silence. By weaving together music and suspense, Tuner aims to create an immersive cinematic experience where every note and pause contributes to the narrative. The storytelling approach focuses on psychological intensity, making it a departure from conventional crime dramas.

Leading the cast is Leo Woodall, alongside Havana Rose Liu and Lior Raz. The ensemble also includes veteran performers Tovah Feldshuh, Jean Reno and Dustin Hoffman, bringing a mix of experience and range to the film.

With its focus on a unique premise and stylised execution, Tuner is expected to appeal to urban audiences looking for layered storytelling within the thriller space. The film’s narrative explores how an unconventional skill can turn into a powerful tool, while also examining the consequences that follow.

The release of Tuner also reflects PVRINOX Pictures’ continued efforts to bring international cinema to Indian audiences, particularly films that offer a fresh perspective within familiar genres.

With its blend of music, suspense and character-driven storytelling, Tuner is positioned as a theatrical experience that aims to stand out for its concept and execution when it arrives in cinemas on May 29, 2026.
