BTS' Jung Kook joins forces with the legend Usher in electrifying 'Standing Next To You' remix performance video, watch
The global popstar Jung Kook of BTS united with R&B legend Usher to unveil a collaborative performance video for 'Standing Next To You' - Usher Remix, a remix of the retro funk track featured in Jung Kook’s critically acclaimed first solo album GOLDEN.
Following the release of the remix earlier this month, the two musical icons showcased a standout collaborative dance performance that elevated the remix to new heights. Set against a raw industrial backdrop with natural light gently emphasized with the use of vintage camera lenses, the artists boast their impeccable all-black styling, seamlessly blending their aesthetics into a cohesive masterpiece. As the track reaches its climax, the radiance emerging from the background slowly intensifies to create a visual spectacle that mirrors the explosive energy of the tune.
The performance video promptly follows their previously released dance challenge clip to Usher's 2004 hit single 'Yeah!' (feat. Lil Jon & Ludacris). The continued collaboration that features the two artists' respective chart-topping hits highlights Jung Kook’s natural flair to carry on the legacy of male solo dance artists.
'Standing Next to You' - Usher Remix follows the release of Jung Kook’s first solo album GOLDEN showcases Jung Kook’s artistry as a solo artist at its height. GOLDEN debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and No. 3 on the UK Official Albums Chart, continuing Jung Kook’s upward trajectory as a global popstar.
The performance video aligns with a series of remarkable milestones that followed the release of GOLDEN. The tracks from the album, which have garnered attention from music aficionados globally, include 'Seven' (feat. Latto), '3D' (feat. Jack Harlow), and 'Hate You'.
