YUMMY! Shah Rukh Khan relishes Rajasthani Thali in Jaipur

 

These days, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is seen on a promotional drive whereby he is going all out to promote his upcoming film Jab Harry Met Sejal. After having wowed his ‘Sejal’ fans and others in Gujarat, Shah Rukh Khan is now on a promotional trip to the royal places of Jodhpur and Jaipur to interact with the masses..YUMMY! During his trip to Jaipur, Shah Rukh Khan was hosted by a renowned Rajasthani restaurant and was treated with an exclusively special Rajasthani thali. It was for the first time that Shah Rukh Khan was relishing on authentic Rajasthani cuisine. A source close to the unit said that Shah Rukh Khan was seen gorging on ‘dal baati churma’ in a gold thali, which left his taste buds satisfied. The same source also added that the said restaurant created a royal ambience to mark Shah Rukh Khan's visit and welcomed him traditionally with a worship plate and tikka in addition to presenting him with a pagdi, Rajputana sword and garland. Additionally, the Rajasthani singers were also placed to recreate some of Shah Rukh Khan's most iconic songs with a Rajasthani twist. Needless to say that, hordes of his fans made their way to the location to catch a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan.

 

 

Speaking about the Jaipur experience, Shah Rukh Khan said, “"I had just heard of ‘dal baati’. It's fantastic and really nice. I wonder how people finish this food it's really filling and very tasty. For me, it's a first time experience. Now, I will come here once in three months at least". Even though he was on a two day visit to Jaipur, he altered his schedule to accept an ‘Honorary Membership’ accorded to him by the Jodhpur Tourist Guide Association yesterday.

 

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, Jab Harry Met Sejal stars Anushka Sharma. This Imtiaz Ali directed film is all set to release on August 4th, 2017.
