Vikram Bhatt shares photos and dedicates a song to daughter Krishna Bhatt as she gets engaged to Vedant Sarda: ‘Laiden with happiness and tears’

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt is a happy father as his daughter Krishna Bhatt got engaged to Vedant Sarda. The filmmaker shared a series of photos from the celebration and even penned a heartfelt song for her.

Vikram Bhatt shared the lyrics of the song ‘Sunrise, Sunset’ from the film Fiddler on the Roof. He wrote, “Engaged to get married!! And then I gave her away - in the words from the Fiddler on the Roof. Is this the little girl I carried? Is this the little boy at play? I don't remember growing older. When did they? When did she get to be a beauty? When did he grow to be so tall? Wasn't it yesterday when they were small?”

 

He also said, “Sunrise, sunset, Sunrise, sunset, Swiftly flow the days, Seedlings turn overnight to sunflowers, Blossoming even as we gaze, Sunrise, sunset, Sunrise, sunset, Swiftly fly the years, One season following another, Laiden with happiness and tears.”

 

 

 

Krishna Bhatt and Vedant Sarda took to their Instagram accounts to share photos from the engagement ceremony. The caption read, “A monsoon romance that culminated in a winter engagement. Cannot wait to see an eternity of summer.”

 

 

 

Krishna Bhatt is the daughter of Vikram Bhatt and his ex-wife, Aditi Bhatt. The couple parted ways in 1998.
