Vidya Balan pioneers the spirit of Diwali in gorgeous Kanjeevaram saree: see pics

The celebrations for the festival of lights Diwali have already begun. Bollywood is already in festive spirit as it marks the first time in two years that everyone gets to celebrate the joy with their loved ones and well, elaborate parties. Vidya Balan attended the grand pre-Diwali bash hosted by producer Ramesh Taurani.

The actress took to social media on Thursday to share a series of photos of herself sitting next to a rangoli made of flowers. Vidya Balan wore a green kanjeevaram saare with red and gold heavy border work. She accessoried her look with gold necklaces, earrings, and minial bangles.

 

She completed her look with her hair tied in a bun, a bindi and dark lipshade. Vidya Balan captioned the post as, "Gearing up for the festive season, candids and khushiyaan."

 

 

 

Meanwhile, on the work front, Vidya Balan was last seen in the much-acclaimed film Jalsa alongside Shefali Shah. She will next be seen in Shirsha Guha Thakurta’s Lovers. The film also stars Sendhil Ramamurthy, Pratik Gandhi and Ileana D’Cruz. The release date is yet to be announced.
