Veteran actress Mumtaz talks about facing skin issues
Just last week, we had reported that actress Mumtaz was admitted to the hospital owing to her ill health. While she was discharged later, the veteran actress spoke about facing some health issues of late and one of them involved her sensitive Iranian skin.
Speaking about her hospitalization, Mumtaz revealed that she had to admitted because of a sudden diarrhea attack. She further went on to mention that she suffers from Irritable Bowel Syndrome and colitis and how the diarrhea worsened the situation for her. On the other hand, the veteran actress is also dealing with skin issues.
For the ones who are not aware, Mumtaz belongs to an Iranian descent. She spoke about her skin, how delicate it is and how it got affected during her hospitalization. She stated that she was on drip for the entire week but her left hand could not be used due to the lymph nodes that was removed when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, two and half decades ago.
During one of her recent interviews, Mumtaz stressed on the need for healthcare in India as the actress recalled her experience in the hospital. She insisted that while people like her are able to fight back, a better system is helpful for the vulnerable who always possess the danger of being exposed to several infections.
Known as one of the popular divas of the 60s and 70s, Mumtaz has shared the screen space with some of the biggest superstars in Bollywood, from Dev Anand to Rajesh Khanna. The actress has acted in several movies including hits like Aap Ki Kasam, Khilona, Humjoli, Hare Rama Hare Krishna.
