After Varun Dhawan and Kangana Ranaut, Brahmastra duo Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor celebrate World Environment Day

As World Environment Day was celebrated on June 5 around the globe, some of the most influential celebrities from Bollywood took part to work towards a better living environment. Dia Mirza, who has been involved in several causes, kickstarted the #BeatThePlastic initiative which has been followed by Varun Dhawan, Kangana Ranaut, Arjun Kapoor and many others. Alia Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, and Ranbir Kapoor too made their contribution on World Environment Day.

The Brahmastra trio, who begin their new schedule today, met up on June 5 to begin their prep for the film. Alia Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, and Ranbir Kapoor got involved in the World Environment Day by using steel bottles instead of plastic. Alia shared a photo with Ranbir and Ayan whilst posing with the bottles and wrote, "Celebrating #worldenvironmentday with our eco-friendly steel bottles."

 

Coming to the film, the first schedule of Brahmastra was completed in Bulgaria. For that schedule, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt underwent rigorous training for the action sequences. Ranbir had to undergo training in different martial art forms like Kalaripayattu and Varma Kalai.

 


 

Meanwhile, just a day ago, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor along with Amitabh Bachchan were going through the script before they began filming today. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is reportedly the first superhero flick in the franchise and is scheduled for August 15, 2019 release.
