Varun Dhawan injures his leg after banging into an iron rod during Atlee's VD 18 shoot, shares pic
Cine1 Studios and A for Apple Studios have come together for Varun Dhawan’s next with filmmaker Atlee Kumar. The film promises to be an adrenaline-pumping action spectacle. The actor began shooting for the film in August 2023. He recently sustained an injury and shared a photo on social media.
In the picture, Varun Dhawan’s leg is swollen and has a red mark. He shared the picture with the caption, “Swollen shin banged it into an iron rod,” and a crying emoji. This ain’t the first time he has been injured on set. A day after he kicked off the shoot in August, Varun had bruised his elbow.
Penned and helmed by Kalees, the movie is set to be a high-octane rollercoaster ride filled with thrilling moments and larger-than-life action sequences. The project will be jointly produced by Murad Khetani and Priya Atlee. It also stars Wamiqa Gabbi. While the title of the film is yet to be revealed, VD 18 is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on May 31, 2024.
On the work front, Varun Dhawan will also star in Citadel India, helmed by Raj & DK, starring alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
