Udaybir Sandhu, aka Pinda, calls Aditya Dhar a mentor, thanks Ranveer Singh for support during Dhurandhar The Revenge: “Never once made me feel small”

Punjabi actor Udaybir Sandhu recently took to social media to express his gratitude to filmmaker Aditya Dhar and co-star Ranveer Singh following the release of Dhurandhar The Revenge. Sandhu, who played the character Pinda in the action drama, shared a heartfelt note on March 29 reflecting on his experience working with the team.

In his message addressed to Aditya Dhar, Sandhu wrote that a simple thank you felt insufficient to describe his gratitude. He credited the director for making him feel included from the very beginning and described him as both a mentor and someone who looked out for him like an elder brother. Sandhu also highlighted Dhar’s patience, guidance, and calm presence on set, calling the opportunity to play Pinda a moment he would always cherish.

 

The actor also acknowledged Ranveer Singh’s support during the shoot. In his note, Sandhu said working with the star was one of the most memorable parts of the film’s journey. He appreciated Ranveer Singh for being encouraging and approachable on set, adding that the actor helped him feel comfortable and supported without drawing attention to it. Sandhu noted that such gestures meant a great deal to him as someone still finding his footing in the industry.

 

 

 

Sandhu’s character Pinda features in a crucial emotional stretch of the film, particularly during the moment when he delivers the line, “Ghar ki yaad nahi aayi tujhe Jassi,” which arrives at a turning point in the narrative.

 

Released on March 19, Dhurandhar The Revenge has already registered a strong response at the box office. The film surpassed the lifetime collection of its first installment, Dhurandhar, within just 11 days of release, underlining its momentum with audiences.
