TXT ends the year with Christmas release 'Sweet Dreams' dedicated to their fans
South Korean group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai) dropped their first carol song 'Sweet Dreams' to celebrate the end of the year. The group first teased the song through their official Twitter. The uploaded image resembles a Christmas postcard and was uploaded with the text: ‘Sweet Dreams’ Coming Soon!’
Soon after, the song was revealed through official social media channels. 'Sweet Dreams' is an Urban R&B carol with vintage piano sounds. The song expresses hopes for a warm and comfortable Christmas and great things to come after difficulties of the year including COVID-19. Members Yeonjun and Huening Kai took part in writing the melody, while Soobin, Taehyun and Huening Kai wrote lyrics. Through the song, TXT expresses their gratitude to MOA for all the love they have received.
Through music, TXT continues to tell personal stories that draw empathy from youth all over the world. Their relatable and universal narrative has enabled their second studio album, The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE, to rank No.5 on the Billboard 200, establishing the boyband as a chart-topper.
