Sourabh Raaj Jain speaks on parenting ahead of his short film Stay-At-Home-Dad release; calls it a "full-time job"
Actor Sourabh Raaj Jain is a multi-talented personality and a popular household name. He rose to fame with shows like Mahabharat, Patiala Babes, Remix, and many more. As part of Sourabh's new upcoming project, the actor will be seen in a digital short film highlighting the concept of stay-at-home dads in this era.
Teaming up with Shipra and Shivankar - owners of Content Ka Keeda, a digital portal, Sourabh will once again be putting out a much-needed and relevant message through this short film. The actor opened up and said, "This is my third association with the duo Shipra and Shivankar for the portal after their last story on Anxiety, Share The Load, and now Stay At Home Dad.
The actor further shared, "When Shipra narrated this story to me, without giving it a second thought, I said yes to it because personally, when I am not shooting, whenever I am not shooting I am a stay-at-home dad, and I can totally understand what all goes into bringing up a child.”
Sourabh also shared his thoughts on parenting, "All in all, it’s a full-time job, most importantly, I feel for a parent, their children must be their responsibility and not of the house helpers and this definitely requires a certain amount of adjustments, understanding, and setting up priorities. So why should it always fall upon the mother and not the father, either way, the focus has to be on the child and that is all that matters. Hope with this short story, perceptions of stay-at-home dads change and people no longer consider it taboo."
