Actress Shilpa Shetty recently turned heads in a traditional Rajasthani Poshak, evoking the grace and opulence of royal Rajasthan. Dressed in a handcrafted ensemble worth Rs 1,55,885, the actress wore Pooja Ranawat’s “Imperial Poshak” — a luxurious creation brought to life with painstaking detail.

The outfit, made from pure silk, is adorned with intricate silver lappa buti work — a traditional embroidery technique known for its precision and delicate artistry. The floral bootis shimmer against the pink fabric, creating an understated yet regal visual effect. This look is not just a fashion statement but also a cultural celebration of Rajasthan’s textile legacy.

 

Styling That Complements Tradition

 

Shilpa’s styling was in perfect harmony with the rich textures of the outfit. Stylists Sukriti Grover, Aditi Jaiswal, and Vani Gupta ensured the look remained rooted in tradition, accessorising with heirloom-inspired jewellery — a multi-layered choker, stacked bangles, a bold nath, and a statement maang tikka. The jewelry, though opulent, didn’t overpower the outfit, letting the silver embroidery shine.

 

Her makeup, done by Ajay Shelar, featured soft pink tones and defined eyes, while hairstylist Seema Mane styled her hair in loose waves, adding a touch of softness to the otherwise stately attire.
