Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani: Ranveer Singh rehearses Kathak moves with choreographer in behind-the-scenes of ‘Dhindhora Baje Re’

With only a day left before the release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are leaving no stone unturned in terms of promotions. Helmed by Karan Johar, the makers have already unveiled four songs from the film – ‘Tum Kya Mile’, ‘What Jhumka’, ‘Ve Kamaleya’ and ‘Dhindhora Baje Re’. The fourth song sees both Alia and Ranveer ace Kathak dance moves in the instrumental beats part of the song.

Now, a behind-the-scenes video has gone viral on social media in which Ranveer Singh is rehearsing the dance moves with the choreographer and totally nailing it. Dressed in a red traditional outfit with a ghera, he has a man bun in the video. The song revolves around sindoor khela which means 'vermillion game', it is a festival celebrated amongst Bengalis where women smear each other with sindoor on Vijayadashami, which is the last day of the Durga Puja.

 

 

 

Sung by Darshan Raval and Bhoomi Trivedi, the lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya and the music is by Pritam. The track is choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.

 

Viacom18 Studios and Dharma Productions present A Dharma Productions film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, and Apoorva Mehta is all set to hit the big screen on July 28, 2023.
