REVEALED: Arjun Kapoor’s real life Half Girlfriend currently lives in London!

 

Yesterday novelist Chetan Bhagat took the stage as the host for the launch event of the trailer of the film Half Girlfriend that is based on his book by the same name. Joining the author on stage was the cast of the film Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor along with the film’s director Mohit Suri. But apart from the trailer of the film that was certainly a must watch, what really caught our attention was Arjun Kapoor talking about his real life half girlfriend.REVEALED: Arjun Kapoor’s real life Half Girlfriend currently lives in London!

 

Talking about the same Arjun added, “There has always been some kind of 'Half' in all our lives, more so in the lives of boys, because there is always so much you want to say but then you wait for the right time. And then you realize that she suddenly comes and introduces you to her boyfriend. This has happened with me at least.” Further detailing the incident about his life Arjun Kapoor continued, “This happened with me once, I felt that I should take a couple of weeks more and get to know her, she should feel comfortable around me and then I will properly ask her out on a date. There was a lot of build-up, like what happens in films, so I got dressed in my finest and reached her birthday party thinking today is the best day to ask her. Then in proper 48 frames she enters hand in hand with another guy.”

 

“Initially I thought, 'Oh, she has come with her brother... that’s nice', so I go up to her and wish her and she turns and say, 'have you met my boyfriend, he just proposed to me today!' That’s when I thought, I wish I had met her four hours earlier, things would have been different. But now I hardly speak to her, currently she is happily married and settled in England and I have connected to her through common friends”, concluded Arjun.

 

Back on the film front, Half Girlfriend which is produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and directed by Mohit Suri is based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel by the same name. Starring Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles the film is slated to hit screens on May 19, 2017.
