Priyanka Chopra remembers her 'superhero dad' Ashok Chopra in a heartwarming video on his death anniversary

Priyanka Chopra has always been her daddy's little girl. The actress, who lost her father five years, never fails to mention how her dad inspired her every single day. Priyanka's father Ashok Chopra passed away five years ago after his battle with cancer at the age of 64. On the day of her father's death anniversary, Priyanka Chopra paid homage to him and addressed him as her "superhero".

In an emotional video shared on Instagram, Priyanka Chopra shared a collection of old pictures and clips from her childhood to her adulthood with her father. She mentioned how she has always aspired to be like him. "My dad was my best friend, my idol and my protector. He was the man of my life. He was my superhero. I wanted to grow up and be him... He was an extremely confident man," read the text in the video. "5 years today. Miss you dad," she wrote alongside the video post.

 

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra already has two Hollywood projects- A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic. She will be soon returning to India to kick-start Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat alongside Salman Khan and Disha Patani.
