Priyanka Chopra arrives in Hyderabad with daughter Malti Marie for SS Rajamouli’s next

Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has arrived in Hyderabad with her daughter, Malti Marie Jonas, sparking fresh buzz around her next major project. The global icon shared two heartwarming pictures on her Instagram stories on Sunday, featuring her toddler travel companion.

The first image showed Malti’s tiny hands and feet with the caption “Mama and Malti,” while the second captured a candid moment of the young one gazing out of a car window, accompanied by the text overlay, “Hyderabad, we made it.”

 

While Priyanka has not officially confirmed the reason for her visit, several reports suggest that she is in Hyderabad to begin filming for SSMB29, the much-anticipated project helmed by filmmaker SS Rajamouli. The action-adventure film is being mounted on a grand scale and reportedly features a mix of history and mythology.

 

The film stars Mahesh Babu in the lead, with Malayalam actor Prithviraj Sukumaran also playing a key role. A major portion of the film has already been shot in Odisha, and the project is expected to release in 2027.

 

This marks a significant addition to Priyanka’s growing roster of international and Indian projects. Most recently, she was seen in Heads of State, an action-comedy directed by Ilya Naishuller. The film featured an ensemble cast including Idris Elba, John Cena, Paddy Considine, Stephen Root, Carla Gugino, Jack Quaid, and Sarah Niles.
