Neil Nitin Mukesh says that his father has been really upset after Rishi Kapoor’s demise, misses him everyday

Neil Nitin Mukesh and Rishi Kapoor’s families have always been very close. They make sure to visit each other’s homes on important festivals and functions. Rishi Kapoor’s untimely demise took a heavy toll on the Mukesh’s family along with all his friends and fans. Neil Nitin Mukesh recently opened up about dealing with Rishi Kapoor’s death and says that it’s a huge loss to their family. Since everyone was aware of the rapport shared by Mukeshs and the Kapoors, it feels like a personal loss.

Neil says that he was a father figure to him and made sure to visit their house every year during Ganesh Chaturthi for darshan. Last year too, he had visited their house the very next day of returning from New York. Rishi Kapoor has been one of the biggest inspirations for Neil. The actor further said that there’s not a day that passes without his father missing his pal, Chintu. He has been very upset ever since he learned the news and Neil is pretty helpless since he has been asked to maintain social distancing. The actor has a kid and senior citizen in the family which is why they have to stay away.

 

However, he is constantly in touch with him and makes sure to provide much-needed emotional support.
