Like every kid, Shahid Kapoor shares an intimate relationship with his mother. Being a total Mamma’s boy, Shahid is super protective of his mother. Neelima Azim recalls how a young Sasha stood up to a stalker.

In an old interview video that recently resurfaced on the internet, the actor’s mother narrated an incident on Simi Grewal’s talk show, Rendezvous with Simi Grewal. Shahid was a guest on the show while his mother just appeared to give an insight on how possessive he was when it came to her.

 

Neelima elaborates, “There was this small, little, puny, unassuming French fellow, who was following me around. But before he could really say anything much, Shahid just came in the middle and he was only 6 years old at the time, mind you! And he just came in the middle and said: ‘Excuse me sir! Before you talk to her, you have to deal with me.’ I can never forget his face; he was just six years old.”
