Manish Chaudhari on Vijay Deverakonda’s performance in Arjun Reddy, “I really loved his work, he was outstanding”

Veteran actor Manish Chaudhari recently reflected on Vijay Deverakonda’s performance in Arjun Reddy, calling it one of the actor’s finest works to date. Praising Vijay’s intensity and screen presence, Manish shared how naturally Vijay embodied the emotionally chaotic character and brought authenticity to the role.

Talking about Vijay’s performance, Manish Chaudhari told Filmygyan, “It was outstanding. He is a young actor. I had seen him in Arjun Reddy because Sandeep Vanga had wanted me to do a part in Kabir Singh. It didn’t work out, but he asked me to watch the film Arjun Reddy. Because of that, I watched the film and I really loved Vijay’s work. He was outstanding. The way he carried himself - that stubborn, rough-edged attitude - you constantly felt like, ‘What is this guy doing? Come on, man, what are you even doing?’ You really get that feeling. It comes across clearly on screen.”

 

Interestingly, both Manish Chaudhari and Vijay Deverakonda recently shared screen space in the film Kingdom, making the appreciation even more special.
