Keh Doon Tumhein: Mudit Nayar aka Vikrant opens up about how he was cast for the show; says, “Vikrant consists of all the shades of emotions”

Not too long ago, we had reported about Star Plus launching a never-seen-before gripping murder mystery and love story, Keh Doon Tumhein, starring Yukti Kapoor and Mudit Nayar in the lead roles as Kirti and Vikrant respectively. Set in Panchgani, the show promises to keep the audience at the edge of their seats with its riveting, gripping, and mysterious plot. While the promo of the show has garnered a lot of love from thriller show fans, it introduced Mudit in a completely different avatar.

Known for his chocolate boy looks and boy-next-door roles, the twisted character of Vikrant introduced in the trailer has left Mudit Nayar fans surprised. Considering the fact that he will also be seen in a thriller show for the first time, Mudit revealed to his fans about how he was casted for the role of Vikrant. He said, "I was casted in the show Keh Doon Tumhein in an old fashion way. I received the script and auditioned for the script which was loved by our producer Shweta Shinde. I was not keen to do television but when Vikrant's character was narrated to me, I was instantly hooked on to it.”

 

He went on to add, “It is not every day you get to play such characters and Vikrant is such a character, which consists of all the shades of emotions. I am extremely excited to play this role and am looking forward to take it to a different level. The theme of the show is little dark, and hence, different from the other shows. The locations also adds to the authencity and eeriness of the plot and screenplay. Keh Doon Tumhein is a fast-paced thriller, but it takes its own time to develop each character. The show will keep you hooked since the very first episode."

 

The promo of Keh Doon Tumhein introduced Kriti as a single mother who bumps into Vikrant, while waiting for a lift after her car breaks down. While the promo hints at a prospective romance that will bloom between the couple, a twisted shade of Vikrant is introduced in the climax where a hand is visible from his car trunk. The spooky promo has definitely left the audience wondering about the show.

 

Produced by Vajra Productions, Keh Doon Tumhein is set to air on Star Plus from September 4 at 11 p.m. from Monday to Sunday.
