Bollywood actress Kajol left her fans shocked as she made a surprising revelation on her social media platforms, Instagram and Twitter. In an unexpected move, she announced her decision to take a hiatus from social media, catching her followers off guard.

On Friday, Kajol took to her Instagram account and shared post with black background with the text, “Facing one of the toughest trials of my life.” Along with the post, she wrote in caption, “Taking a break from social media.” She not only decided to take a break, but also removed all the posts from her Instagram account. The actress, however, has not deleted any post from her Twitter account.

 

 

The announcement left her fans in a state of both curiosity and concern, as they expressed their support and understanding in the comment sections. Reacting to this, a fan wrote, “What a about your dear fans who wants to see you every day and loves to get updated always this is the medium only,” while another user commented, “Hope you're doing fine, take your time.”

 

Meanwhile, on the professional front, the 48-year-old actress was last seen in Salaam Venky. The slice-of-life drama film, directed by Revathi, also featured Vishal Jethwa in the lead role. The plot of the movie revolves around a real-life account of a mother who goes to great lengths to ensure that her son, who has been diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy, enjoys his life to the fullest. She has a bunch of projects in her kitty, including the Hindi adaptation of the popular American series The Good Wife. She also has Netflix’s Lust Stories 2.
