Jodi: Diljit Dosanjh unveils the trailer of his Punjabi musical drama starring alongside Nimrat Khaira, watch
Indian actor Diljit Dosanjh, who works in both Hindi and Punjabi films, unveiled the first trailer of his upcoming Punjabi movie, Jodi. Set for May 5 release, the film stars him opposite Saunkan Saunkne actress Nimrat Khaira.
The trailer sees Diljit Dosanjh who is essaying the role of an aspiring singer and kicks off a stage show for the main artists of the orchestra in the village. However, he knows he is talented enough to start his own show in the village. With the help of Nimrat Khaira, he starts the same. Initially, they don’t get the response they need but their ‘Jodi’ becomes hit. As the professional relationship turns into love, this career invites trolls, mean comments and angst from the villagers.
Jodi is helmed and written by Amberdeep Singh. It also stars Harsimran, Drishtii Garewal, Hardeep Gill and Ravinder Mand.
Diljit Dosanjh, on the other hand, will also be seen in Imtiaz Ali's directorial Chamkila with Parineeti Chopra. The actor has also signed The Crew alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon and Tabu.
