The festival of lights, Diwali is just around the corner and while we gear up to celebrate the same, Arpita Khan Sharma hosted a lavish Diwali bash last night. Gracing the same were some of the biggest names in the industry viz. The pre Diwali bash that was organized at Aprita’s resident also saw Shilpa Shetty, Shamita Shetty, Raj Kundra, Ekta Kapoor and Sophie Choudry making an appearance to bring in the festival. While Shilpa Shetty looked stunning in a floor length gown she and sister Shamita couldn’t help but strike a pose with Salman. Posting an image of the same on Instagram Shilpa added, “Still...The Dude! @beingsalmankhan #friendsforever #diwaliparty #laughs #bigboss”.

 

 

Sharing a couple of more images of the glittering night that also saw the Judwaa & Judwaa 2 director David Dhawan make an appearance. Posting these images Shilpa added, “What a fun party @arpitakhansharma , can’t believe you have grown up so fast??Biggest hug..Love u.. #Funfriends #happiness #friendsforever #diwaliparty”.

 

 

Also gracing the bash were Saqib Saleem and Huma Qureshi with the latter taking to Instagram thanking Arpita for a lovely party saying, “Thanks @arpitakhansharma what a night to kickstart Diwali celebrations @kanchikaul @saqibsaleem @aadu_adil #friendslikefamily #diwali”.

 

 

Taking to social networking sites today, Arpita too shared a couple of images from the party while also taking the time to thank everyone for making the evening a star studded night. Sharing an image featuring designer Manish Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra and Sophie Choudry, Arpita posted, “About last night ! @TheShilpaShetty @ManishMalhotra @TheRajKundra kick starting the festive season”. Later sharing an image while posing with her brothers and her husband Aayush Sharma, Arpita shared another image saying, “Blessed with the best love @BeingSalmanKhan @arbaazSkhan @SohailKhan @aaysharma”.

 

 

While by the looks of the images it certainly was a night to remember the pre Diwali bash also saw Sooraj Pancholi, Kiara Advani, Athiya Shetty, Daisy Shah, Elli Avram, Kartik Aaryan, Dia Mirza with hubby Sahil Sangha, Bhushan Kumar along with wife Divya Khosla Kumar and a host of others too partying the night away.
