Independence Day 2021: Shah Rukh Khan recites 'Saare Jahan Se Accha', shares photo of AbRam Khan
Superstar Shah Rukh Khan took to his social media to celebrate India's 75th Independence day on Sunday. He shared a voice note on Twitter and a photo of AbRam Khan and a little kid posing with their tricolour artwork.
Along with the picture, the Chak De! India actor also shared an audio note, “Freedom is not just a state of being, a state of mind, a mentality. For years we were oppressed..but we persevered through darkness with strength of character and non-violence. And here we are today -- Happy, free and proud.”
He also concluded, “And in this haven of freedom, may our country always be and our children prosper”. The message also had verses from Saare Jahan Se Accha.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is busy with the shoot of YRF's Pathan. The film also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana. It is slated for the 2022 release.
