What happened between Govinda and Krushna Abhishek?

 

For the unversed, it all started in 2016, when Govinda appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote Jagga Jasoos, upsetting nephew Krushna Abhishek, who hosted a rival show. Krushna expressed disappointment over Govinda's choice, expecting support as a family. A joke made by Krushna on his show further strained their relationship, leading to public disagreements. Govinda felt hurt by Krushna's remarks and criticised his approach to comedy.

 

Tensions escalated when Krushna's wife, Kashmera Shah, made derogatory remarks about Govinda and his family on social media. Despite attempts to clarify, misunderstandings persisted, deepening the family feud. Krushna opted out of an episode featuring Govinda on The Kapil Sharma Show due to discomfort. Krushna lamented the strained relationship and expressed efforts to reconcile. Allegations emerged regarding Govinda's absence during Krushna's twins' hospitalisation, disputed by Govinda.
