EXCLUSIVE: Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra opens up about actor’s resilience after nose surgery setback; says, “She came back stronger than ever”

Over the years, Priyanka Chopra's nose surgery has been a widely discussed topic, and the actor has candidly addressed it in various interviews. Recently, Priyanka's mother, Madhu Chopra, shed light on the matter, admitting that the actor underwent a nose job early in her career that didn't go as planned.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Madhu Chopra disclosed that Priyanka lost multiple film projects due to the complications arising from the botched surgery. Despite these setbacks, Priyanka bounced back, showcasing her resilience. Addressing how Priyanka dealt with the challenges following the unsuccessful surgery, Madhu Chopra said, “In the old days, there used to be this toy, which would bounce back up if you hit it. That’s what Priyanka is like. Nobody could suppress her; she came back stronger than ever. And she did it only through serious hard work, and serious focus. I’ve never seen her do anything else. She never went for parties, nothing. She’d go to work, learn her lines, stay at home. She stayed sober and remained dedicated.”

 

 

On the professional front, Priyanka Chopra's latest project is the Russo Brothers' web series, Citadel, which premiered on April 28, 2023, on Prime Video and is renewed for a second part. The series features Priyanka as Nadia Sinh and Richard Madden as Mason Kane. Additionally, Priyanka appeared in Love Again. The actress has also announced her next film, Heads Of State, where she will share the screen with John Cena and Idris Elba. Priyanka Chopra continues to prove her mettle in the entertainment industry with her diverse roles and unwavering dedication.
