EXCLUSIVE: Dhak Dhak actress Sanjana Sanghi reveals Ranbir Kapoor taught her to use a specific perfume playing a character - “And it really helps”

Actress Sanjana Sanghi marked her first lead role in the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer 2020 film Dil Bechara. The actress-model has also wrapped up her schedule for her upcoming multi-starrer film Dhak Dhak that has a star-studded lineup of Ratna Pathak Shah, Dia Mirza and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles.

During the promotion for her female-centric drama, Sanjana sat with Bollywood Hungama for a fun What’s In My Bag segment and shared how Ranbir taught her to use a specific cologne while shooting. While revealing the items she carries day-to-day with her, Sanjana took out her ‘men’s perfume’ and shared, “I prefer to use male colognes, very weird, I don’t know why but yeah.”

 

That is what it is but this is what I use as Sanjana. And when I’m playing a character, I always have a specific perfume because Ranbir [Kapoor] taught me that during Rockstar and it really helps.”

 

 

Speaking of the film, Dhak Dhak is “a heart-warming story of four women undertaking a trip breaking out of their cocoons & discovering themselves through this journey of introspection & adventure.” The film is co-produced by Taapsee Pannu, Pranjal Khandhdiya and Ayush Maheshwari, directed by Tarun Dudeja and co-written by Parijat Joshi and Tarun Dudeja.
