Dunki in Dubai: Shah Rukh Khan lauds Vicky Kaushal: “He is one of the finest actors I have worked with”

As Shah Rukh Khan's much-awaited Dunki gears up for the theatrical release this week, the anticipation is at an all-time high. Kick-starting the promotional journey in Dubai, SRK received a grand welcome from the people on the Dunki Day 1 promotion with a grand setup for his entry at the Global Village on Sunday. Shah Rukh Khan visited VOX Cinemas in Dubai on Sunday and it took no time for the audience to go insane on his entry. Dubai gave a grand welcome to SRK as he visited Deira City Centre for the VOX cinemas event. The superstar praised his co-star Vicky Kaushal who has a special appearance in the film. He also talked about director Rajkumar Hirani.

At the event, Shah Rukh Khan said, “Vicky is a great friend. I personally feel he is one of the finest actors I have worked with. When you watch him in Dunki, you will feel a lot of love for him. He has done well and I got to learn from him actually,” Shah Rukh said.

 

 

 

During the event, when asked about Rajkumar Hirani, he said, “The best director in the country, we all love him, respect him and we need to give the love back because he gives us so much love through his cinemas.”

 

When asked about Taapsee Pannu, who plays the role of the leading lady in the film, SRK said, “She is a wonderful actress, her name reminds me of Paneer, because of Pannu! She is a lovely actress and a wonderful person to work with.”

 

 

 

Dunki has been issued the U/A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification. It has a run time of 2 hours 41 minutes.

 

Dunki features Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover, along with Shah Rukh Khan. A JIO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films presentation, produced by Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan; Written by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon, Dunki is slated to release on December 2023.
