Deepika's favourite designer, Sabyasachi, handpicked this stunning peacock blue Benarasi saree, which she elegantly wore as she walked the red carpet for the event. The six yards of opulent blue fabric included intricate golden floral threadwork that provided a feeling of majestic contrast. Although a saree with this much overall splendour hardly needs an elaborate border, Sabyasachi's exquisite flower motifs on the large borders of this particular design added to the regal ambiance of the outfit.

 

 

The blouse that matched Deepika's attire gave it a genuinely wonderful regality. It had full sleeves with ornate button embellishments and a close-up neckline. The actress accessorised her ensemble with a chic low bun with a centre parting, matching stud earrings, and an extravagant Kundan gold set. Deepika's subtle glam, which comprised defined brows, neutral-toned smokey eyes, and nude pink lips, was the perfect finishing touch.
