The first glimpse of Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney together on the set of Marvel’s Madame Web, the highly anticipated Spider-Man spinoff.

According to Just Jared tabloid, the 33-year-old actress was filming a scene with co-stars Sydney Sweeney, Isabela Merced, and Celeste O’Connor on Tuesday afternoon (October 11) in New York City. The four actresses filmed an action sequence next to a subway station near Grand Central Station.

 

Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney co-star in Madame Web, Sony's first female-centric superhero film in the MCU. Based on the psychic-mutant character first introduced in The Amazing Spider-Man #210, the movie is set to expand the history of Spider-Man's ally, Madame Web.

 

In the post, Sweeney is seemingly following Dakota Johnson's character out of a subway and sporting red hair, a plaid skirt, and glasses. As per the report, there are a couple of different iterations of Madame Web in the Marvel universe, and the fact that Dakota is wearing a red coat, indicating that she’ll be starring as the Julia Carpenter version of Madame Web!

 

 

 

 

Further details about the film are being kept under wraps. While Johnson is on board to essay the titular Miss Web, other cast members have not had their characters announced. The superhero flick is slated to be released in 2024.
