Check out: Salman Khan kick starts BMC's open defecation free drive

A few days ago, we had reported that Salman Khan was roped in as the brand ambassador for Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation's (BMC) to make Mumbai free of open defecation.

Salman Khan shared a glimpse from the press meet where he met the BMC commissioner and officials and Shiv Sena youth leader Aditya Thackeray. Appreciating their work, he wrote, "Met commissioner& officials at BMC office. Soon going to share info about d work, all of them do a thankless job which is fab, Appreciate them." At the meet, Salman said, "In a mega-city like Mumbai, this looks really awkward to find people defecating in open. I will try my best to tell them to do away with this practice."

On the professional front, Salman Khan is seen on the small screen hosting Bigg Boss season 10 and is busy with Kabir Khan's Tubelight.
