The film, co-produced by UTV and Madhur Bhandarkar, is based on the life and times of a superstar actress in Bollywood. Seen in the picture is Kareena Kapoor, who plays Mahi Khanna, rehearsing for a scene.

 

Heroine, which also stars Arjun Rampal, is scheduled for release next year.
