Cannes 2022: Deepika Padukone is scintillating in custom Louis Vuitton black gown at Heojil Kyolshim premiere

This year's Cannes Film Festival is celebrating its 75th edition, with Indian representation in attendance. As the festival returned to the South of France to celebrate films from around the world, it also brought a big number of Indian celebrities and influencers, who were the evening's highlight this year. Deepika Padukone, a jury member, had all eyes on her. She is regularly offering swoon-worthy looks from Cannes. Deepika graced the red carpet on Day 6 of the Festival de Cannes, in a black Louis Vuitton gown bringing sheer splendour to the French Riviera once again.

Deepika, who is a member of the famous film festival jury this year, made her third red carpet appearance at the premiere of Heojil Kyolshim (Decision To Leave). Nicolas Ghesquiere designed a special black Louis Vuitton gown for the star. She wore a noodle strap gown with embellishments. Her metallic black gown featured a plunging V-neckline and bare back, glittering feather-like tassels, black sequin adornments, a figure-flattering cut hugging her frame, a back-sweeping train, and a cinched bodice.

 

 

Deepika accentuated her Cannes red carpet look with dramatic makeup that matched her gown's dark tone. Exaggerated and winged black smoky eye shadow, kohl-lined eyes, mascara on the eyelashes, glossy nude lip shade, on-fleek brows, radiant complexion, flushed cheeks, and dazzling highlighter were among her makeup choices.

 

Deepika ended up styling her hair in a messy high bun with a few loose strands shaping her face. Cartier's striking diamond rings and diamond earrings, as well as matching black strappy stilettos, completed the look.

 

 

Deepika Padukone is part of a nine-member panel that will choose the winners of this year's Palme d'Or honor on May 28 during a gala ceremony in Cannes. Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace, and Italian actor-director Jasmine Trinca are among the other jury members, as are directors Asghar Farhadi, Ladj Ly, Jeff Nichols, and Joachim Trier. Deepika will also walk the red carpet at Cannes for the entire ten days.

 

In terms of her acting career, Deepika was most recently seen in Shakun Batra's Gehraiyaan. She will next appear in Pathaan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. Aside from that, she has The Intern, Fighter, and Prabhas' Project K.
