On 6th September 2025, Bobby Deol’s film Bandar will be screened at TIFF. On the very same day, Indian cinema’s most iconic film Sholay—starring the legendary Dharmendra alongside Amitabh Bachchan—will also be showcased at the festival.
The date itself carries a special significance. Exactly forty-eight years earlier, on 6th September 1977, a young Bobby Deol first stepped onto the silver screen as a child actor in Dharam Veer.
