Bollywood luminaries descended upon Ayodhya on January 22 to partake in the auspicious Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla. The morning witnessed the departure of renowned personalities from the film industry, including Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Madhuri Dixit, Sriram Nene, Rajkumar Hirani, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Rohit.
The celebrities were spotted at Mumbai's private airport in the early hours, creating a buzz among fans and the media. A viral selfie captured by Dr. Sriram Nene, husband of Madhuri Dixit, added to the fervour, featuring the luminaries as they embarked on this unique rendezvous. The selfie featured Dr. Nene with Madhuri Dixit, Ranbir-Alia, Ayushamann Khurrana, Rajkumar Hirani and Vicky Kaushal.
This illustrious gathering forms part of a select group of 506 influential figures, which includes politicians, industrialists, and film stars, among others, who received invitations for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. The consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, a momentous occasion for millions of devotees, is set to take place on January 22.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the ceremony, lending national significance to the event. Following the rituals, PM Modi addressed the esteemed attendees.
The presence of Bollywood celebrities at such a sacred event underscored the cultural and spiritual significance of the Ram temple's consecration.
