Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul Wedding: Cricketer’s Mumbai residence gets all decked up

Readers would recall that for the past few days, reports have been rife about cricketer KL Rahul tying the knot with Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty. The couple has been open about their relationship for quite some time and in the past too, father of the actress and also a popular Bollywood star, Suniel Shetty too has confirmed about their relationship, albeit refraining from divulging any details about their wedding. However, a few days ago, there were several reports about the couple tying the knot on January 23 and adding fuel to the same, the cricketer’s residence in Mumbai have been decorated lavishly.

Videos and photos of KL Rahul’s residence in Pali Hill, Bandra have found its way online wherein we can see the extensive lighting and décor of the entire building. This has only added further to the speculations about the wedding. Although there have been claims that there is another wedding in the building, paparazzi cannot stop hinting at the impending wedding of the cricketer and the actress. We had earlier reported that the couple will be tying the knot at their 17 year old Khandala farmhouse (owned by the Shettys) named Jahaan. Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul have been together for about three years and the couple recently rang in New Years in Dubai. Talking about their wedding, there are also reports that while the wedding will be low-key, the couple is planning on hosting a lavish reception for the industry colleagues and sports personalities. The pre-wedding festivities are expected to kick start from this week onwards, i.e. from January 21.

 

Coming to the Bollywood front, while Suniel Shetty was recently seen in the MX Player web series Dharavi Bank, his daughter Athiya Shetty who made her debut in 2014 with Hero, was last seen in Motichoor Chaknachoor alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui in 2019. The actress is yet to announce her comeback in Bollywood.
