Arjun Rampal pens heartfelt birthday wish for “dearest boya” Aditya Dhar ahead of Dhurandhar: The Revenge release: “No one was ready for you!”

Filmmaker Aditya Dhar celebrated his birthday on March 12, with several colleagues from the film industry sending their wishes on social media. Among them was his Dhurandhar: The Revenge actor Arjun Rampal, who penned a heartfelt note for the director.

Taking to his social media handle, Rampal shared a warm message celebrating Dhar. The actor wrote, “Dearest Boya, One thing is for sure, no one was ready for you!!!! Happiest birthday my little brother. Have a Dhurandhar year ahead. #happybirthday @adityadharfilms.”

 

 

 

Earlier in the day, Dhar’s wife and actor Yami Gautam Dhar also marked the occasion with a special post. She shared two candid photos of the couple and wrote, “If only there were enough words to describe what you mean to me…To my one & only, Aditya !!! Happy Birthday, love.”

 

The post drew several reactions from industry colleagues. Actor Aahana Kumra commented, “Happiest birthday @adityadharfilms sir!.” Dhurandhar actor Danish Pandor added, “Happy birthday Bossman @adityadharfilms sir..love you.” Veteran actor Kalpana Iyer also extended her wishes, writing, “Happy Birthday to Your ADITYA. Blessings to both of You.”

 

 

 

Meanwhile, Dhar is currently gearing up for the release of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Coinciding with his birthday, the makers also unveiled the first track from the sequel, titled ‘Aari Aari’. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, while the first installment of the franchise will return to cinemas on March 13.

 

The sequel was earlier set to clash with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups. However, the makers postponed the release due to the ongoing Middle East crisis. As a result, Dhurandhar: The Revenge will now face a box-office clash with Ustaad Bhagat Singh starring Pawan Kalyan. Directed by Aditya Dhar and jointly produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the Dhurandhar franchise features an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Akshaye Khanna, whose character died in the first part.
