Animal has already garnered much attention owing to the unique role essayed by Ranbir Kapoor. While audiences also are quite curious to see more of his unexplored chemistry with actress Rashmika Mandanna, who essays the role of Kapoor’s wife, the latter too has been receiving appreciation for her role in the film. In fact, after the trailer release one of her dialogues received a lot of attention. Many netizens pointed out that the actress uttered a few lines with clenched teeth and recently filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga also addressed it in one of his interviews.

It seems that many netizens complained about the lack of clarity in the dialogue that Rashmika Mandanna is seen uttering in the film. The sequence features her talking to Ranbir Kapoor angrily and she says, “I really wish he had died that day,” with her clenched teeth. In an interview with India Today, filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga opened up about this particular scene and clarified the reason behind Rashmika speaking in that manner, adding, "Rashmika Mandanna was supposed to speak in a particular way because it is a very emotional scene. I knew there would be a certain reaction to it. When someone is feeling a certain emotion, then they speak with their teeth clenched. I think keeping it in the trailer has only given it multiple views. When you see it as part of the larger scene in the movie, it will make more sense.”

 

Directed and written by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also features an ensemble cast which includes Anil Kapoor as Ranbir Kapoor aka Animal’s father and Bobby Deol as the antagonist. The film also stars Triptii Dimri, Siddhant Karnick, Saloni Batra, among others in key roles and it is all set to release on December 1 in five languages - Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
