Anant Ambani demonstrates remarkable generosity with Rs 25 crore contribution to Uttarakhand Relief Fund
Anant Ambani, Reliance Industries' Director, has helped Uttarakhand to aid its flood relief measures out of compassion and generosity. Mr. Ambani pledged Rs 25 crore to the Uttarakhand Relief Fund, or "Mukhya Mantri Rahat Kosh."
“The phenomenal resilience of the state and its people in the face of the crisis has been inspiring to all of us at Reliance,” said Anant Ambani as the relentless monsoon rains in Uttarakhand have wreaked havoc, triggering floods and landslides.
The catastrophic weather has washed away vital connecting roads, worsening local residents' problems. The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) has been tirelessly evacuating residents to mitigate this crisis.
Initial reports indicate 52 rain-related deaths and 37 injuries.
