Amul pays a heart-warming tribute to Shashi Kapoor

 

Known for its unique ideas, the dairy brand Amul has time and again taken inspiration from ongoing topics and has created some iconic posters as a part of its ad campaigns. Just a day ago, Bollywood mourned the loss of one of its most legendary actors Shashi Kapoor and Amul decided to pay a tribute to the veteran star.Amul pays a heart-warming tribute to Shashi Kapoor

 

It is a known fact that Shashi Kapoor has been an integral part of some of the biggest blockbusters of Indian cinema like Deewar, Kabhi Kabhie, and Satyam Shivam Sundaram among others. The actor has paired up with megastar Amitabh Bachchan too in many film  s and one amongst them is Deewar. Taking a cue from one of their most popular dialogues ‘Mere paas maa hai’, Amul paid the tribute to Shashi Kapoor by rephrasing the same as ‘Mere paas aapka cinema hai’.

 

The poster also featured Shashi Kapoor in some of his popular avatars which include his role as police inspector Ravi in Deewar and boatman Raja from Jab Jab Phool Khile. Interestingly, not many know that Jab Jab Phool Khile is the original version of the Aamir Khan starrer Raja Hindustani.
