Alia Bhatt wears a saree depicting the story of Ramayana at the consecration of Ayodhya Ram Mandir

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who tied the knot in 2022, attended the beautiful consecration ceremony of Ayodhya, which was also attended by many other celebrities from the Indian film fraternity.  The actress, just like her peers, opted for an ethnic look, and exuded sheer elegance in a beautiful saree for the ceremony.

From what we hear her beautiful blue saree was created by Madhurya, a boutique which exquisitely handcrafted ensembles with intricate embroidery weaves inspired by Indian heritage and culture. Furthermore, a source close to the actress revealed that Alia’s saree featured the entire story of Ramayana. The source revealed, “Alia wanted something exquisite with spiritual elements in her outfit. She was going to attend such a huge ceremony which is being celebrated not only in our country but by many across the world. So, what better than retelling the entire story of Lord Ram at a ceremony which celebrates him”.

 

She was also accompanied by her husband and co-actor Ranbir Kapoor, who too opted for a complete traditional avatar. Fans of the actor were thrilled to see him wear a dhoti and a matching kurta. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor arrived in Ayodhya in a private jet along with other celebrities like Madhuri Dixit Nene and her husband Dr. Sriram Nene, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif, Rohit Shetty, Rajkumar Hirani, Mahaveer Jain, among others. Apart from them, many other celebs including megastars like Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, and Rajinikanth were a part of this consecration ceremony which was mainly led by Honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi.
