As Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul marked their first wedding anniversary on Tuesday, Athiya's brother, Ahan Shetty, added a touch of nostalgia to the celebration by sharing an unseen photo from the couple's wedding day. The Tadap actor took to social media to post the special moment captured during a ritual on the mandap.

In the candid snapshot, Ahan Shetty can be seen actively participating in a ritual alongside the couple. Sharing the photo, Ahan expressed, “How time flies! Happy 1 year anniversary.” Athiya Shetty, responding to her brother's post, added a humorous note into the celebration. She commented, “Happy anniversary to you and Rahul.” The image captured the moment where Ahan and KL Rahul have their hands extended, seemingly holding each other's hands, with Athiya in the centre.

 

 

Acknowledging Athiya's jest, Ahan Shetty humorously tagged KL Rahul in his response, writing, "Athiya Shetty - KL Rahul, we've been exposed." The comment section filled with laughter.

 

For the unversed, Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul, who were dating for years, decided to put a ring on it and soon the couple announced their marriage on January 22, 2023. After hosting an intimate pre-wedding festivities, the actress and cricketer tied the knot in a lavish and private traditional ceremony at Athiya’s father and popular 90s-star Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Lonavala, Maharashtra.
