Jayeshbhai Jordaar Box Office Estimate Day 2: Shows a jump of nearly 40%; collects Rs. 4.50 crores

Jayeshbhai Jordaar has jumped by around 40% on its second day. The Ranveer Singh film has collected in range of Rs. 4.45 to 4.65 crores on Saturday to take the two day total to Rs. 7.75 crores. The movie is now headed for an opening weekend of Rs. 12 crores.

This is extremely poor result for a film fronted by a star like Ranveer Singh. The two day total in an ideal scenario should have been the opening day of this social drama. The audience talk is mixed amd hence we don’t  expect it to trend well on the weekdays.

 

Given the run so far, Jayeshbhai Jordaar will be headed for a lifetime total of Rs. 20-22 crores, joining the list of pandemic disasters like Bell Bottom, Bunty Aur Babli 2, Satyameva Jayate 2, 83, Attack, Jersey, Runway 34 and Heropanti 2. All the aforementioned films ended in the range of Rs. 10 to 30 crores, and these are far off from being even face saving numbers.

 

If the talk was postive, jump would have been lot higher, but this is just routine stuff ensuring more or less flat trend on Sunday with a minimal growth.
