Housefull 4 Box Office Collections: The Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 becomes the 9th highest opening day grosser of 2019

The much talked about and keenly awaited fourth installment in the Housefull franchise hit screens yesterday. Promising to make Diwali that much more brighter with its humour Housefull 4 was expected to start on a good note.

In this box office report we take a look at the opening day collections of Housefull 4 while comparing the same to previous releases of 2019. Collecting Rs. 19.08 cr Housefull 4 has managed to become the ninth highest opening day grosser of 2019 surpassing the collections of the previous released film Total Dhamaal that had collected Rs. 16.50 cr. However, despite the hype surrounding Housefull 4 the business of the film does not surpass the collections of previous releases like War that collected Rs. 53.35 cr, Bharat that collected Rs. 42.30 cr, Mission Mangal that collected Rs. 29.16 cr, Saaho that collected Rs. 24.40 cr, Kalank that collected Rs. 21.60 cr, Kesari that collected Rs. 21.06 cr, Kabir Singh that collected Rs. 20.21 cr, and Gully Boy that had collected Rs. 19.40 cr.

 

Currently Housefull 4 continues to run in theatres and is expected to see an increase in business over the weekend. Furthermore with Monday and Tuesday being a holiday in many domestic territories expectations are that business of Housefull 4 will see a further increase.
