Box Office: Jagga Jasoos becomes the 8th highest opening day grosser of 2017

 

The Ranbir Kapoor – Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos finally hit screens on Friday. The film directed by Anurag Basu which is targeted at kids opened on a decent note. While the list of highest opening day grossers is firmly led by Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion that collected Rs. 41 cr, other releases like Tubelight that collected Rs. 21.15 cr, Raees that collected Rs. 20.42 cr, Jolly LLB 2 that collected Rs. 13.2 cr, Badrinath Ki Dulhania that collected Rs. 12.25 cr, Kaabil that collected Rs. 10.43 cr and Half Girlfriend that collected Rs. 10.27 cr rank higher than Jagga Jasoos.

 

However, on the other hand, Jagga Jasoos has performed better than other films that hit screens earlier this year like, Sachin – A Billion Dreams Rs. 8.4 cr, Raabta that collected Rs. 5.61 cr, Commando 2 that collected Rs. 5.14 cr and Naam Shabana that collected Rs. 5.12 cr.
