Box Office: Hindi Medium becomes the 5th movie of 2017 to gross 100 crores worldwide

 

A few weeks ago we saw the release of the film Hindi Medium that featured Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles. Since the film released alongside the Arjun Kapoor – Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend, box office prospects of Hindi Medium that released across 1126 screens was rather low.Box Office: Hindi Medium becomes the 5th movie of 2017 to gross 100 crores worldwide

 

However, turning out to be an underdog that wins the day, Hindi Medium that received good reviews and positive appreciation from the audience managed to hold its own against the competition. Now, nearing the close of business Hindi Medium has grossed Rs. 102.77 at the worldwide box office, with Rs. 90.29 cr gross coming in from the domestic market and another Rs. 12.48 cr gross from the overseas markets.

 

With this, Hindi Medium has now become the fifth film of 2017 to cross the Rs. 100 crore mark at the worldwide box office. However claiming the first four slots on this list are Raees that collected Rs. 281.44 cr, Badrinath Ki Dulhania that collected Rs. 200.34 cr, Jolly LLB 2 that collected Rs. 193.95 cr and Kaabil that collected Rs. 177.72 cr.
