Box Office: Dangal surpasses 3 Idiots at the overseas box office, becomes the 5th highest overseas grosser till date

 

The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal, that released after being in the making for two years, is inspired from the real life story of the wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who went on to make even his daughters a champion in the field of wrestling. As per reports, Dangal [24.58 mil. USD] has emerged as the 5th highest All Time Overseas Grosser surpassing 3 Idiots [25.5 mil USD]. By the end of the day today, it is expected to surpass Dilwale [25.6 mil. USD] and claim the 4th spot.

 

What remains to be seen is if Dangal can surpass the other Aamir Khan starrers that has been ruling the top all time overseas grosser list which includes PK [47.2 mil USD] and Dhoom 3 [31.1 mil USD]
