Will Saif replace Aamir?
The year 2004 may not have started on a positive note for Dino Morea [he's had two releases this year - ISHQ HAI TUMSE and PLAN - and both went unnoticed at the box-office!], but the model turned actor is hoping to bounce back with renewed vigour with three releases - RAKHT, CHEHRA and KABHI BHI KAHIN BHI.
Dino is gung ho because he's made an attempt to try out different roles in all three films. Attempting a wide variety of roles is the new mantra and I didn't want to be left behind, he laughs, So, the moment the 'hatke' roles came my way, I didn't think twice.
But on a serious note, Dino does talk about the films in question. If RAKHT has me portraying the role of a wife-beater [Neha Dhupia plays the wife, while Dino enacts the role of an over-possessive husband], CHEHRA [with Bipasha Basu] is quite different in the sense that it's a love story and the end is sure to move even the stone-hearted.
KABHI BHI KAHIN BHI, directed by Padam Kumar, has Dino essaying the role of a person who has escaped from a mental asylum. It was a difficult role to enact, but I think I will pass the test, he smiles.
Dino's career is on an upswing. Besides an Indo-Chinese project, the actor, who received a positive feedback for his performance in Cinevistaas' SSSSHHH, is also in negotiations with Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt for their new film. Await the official announcement!
