More and more television veejays are eyeing Bollywood. It started with Malaika Arora-Khan (MTV) making her debut in the 'Chhaiyan Chhaiyan' number in DIL SE. Then her sister, Amrita Arora (also MTV), followed suit and has bagged a couple of plum assignments as leading lady. Prior to her, Nikhil Chinappa (also MTV) also tried his hand at acting with SNIP! and is being 're-introduced' in Sony's Mahesh Manjrekar-directed project. A fortnight ago, we heard of Cyrus Broacha (MTV), best known for Bakra jokes, doing a cameo in OM JAI JAGDISH. And now Channel [V] veejay Purab is being launched in Padam Kumar's SUPARI. It's not just models who are eyeing Bollywood!
