Tabu to play a bar dancer in Chandni Bar:

Well there's a new film which is going on the floors shortly. And it is titled Chandni Bar. The name sounds as if it is a low grade semi-porn movie. But it is Tabu who is going to play the female lead in the same. The movie is based on prostitution in the red-light areas. The producers had started research on this topic a few months back. Tabu along with the producer and the director had even gone into the red-light areas and did meet bar girls and prostitutes so that they could portray a realistic image of them on the screen. Tabu plays a bar girl who later takes up a job as a waitress in the same bar when she turns old. Let's see how effective is Tabu as a bar dancer in the movie
